Dr. Laura Schelly,
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Laura Schelly has practiced for the past 26 years in Peoria, IL. She specializes in the care of fibromyalgia, sciatic neuritis and cervicocranial syndrome (headaches, sinus congestion, dizziness, tinnitus, vertigo and TMJ problems )
She uses the traditional manual adjusting techniques as well as the Activator method, which uses a small thump to re-align the spine rather than rotation or “popping”. The Activator technique is ideal for the elderly, those with disc problems, or post surgical treatment and for the folks who just are reluctant to be adjusted manually.
In addition to spinal manipulation, Dr. Schelly also offers acupressure, axial traction (aka spinal decompression) intersegment traction, and has a massage therapist on staff. In addition to her specialties, she successfully treats neck and shoulder pain, upper back pain and tightness, low back and hip pain and accident cases.
Dr. Schelly accepts most insurance and is a participating provider for Medicare.
